About BIC

Building
The
Future.

A student-led AI conference at the University of Michigan, founded at the intersection of Ross and the School of Information.

BIC was founded around a simple reality: AI is reshaping how businesses operate, how decisions get made, and what skills actually matter. This shift isn't about replacing people. The greatest opportunities will belong to those who know how to work alongside these technologies and use them with judgment.

The conference is built on a belief reflected in its name: Business with Intelligence. The technology is only part of the equation. Knowing what to ask, how to interpret the output, and what to do next is still a human job. BIC brings founders, investors, and executives to campus to show students exactly how that works in practice.
